Fingerprints 4.jpg

Taught by Meghan Garcia

Students will create a recycled fabric fiber art project and use naturally made charcoal for a large scale pollinator insect drawing. Students will learn about Contemporary Native American artist Joan Hill and create a mixed media landscape piece inspired by her style. They will create artwork influenced by Earth artists like Michael Grab and Andy Goldsworthy who create sculptures using only what can be found in nature. Book making and a handmade bead project will round out this week.
